Hi Bryan,
During the cold snap several weeks ago I had a flock of 12-15 evening
grosbeaks visiting my platform feeder. Last week the flock had grown to
around 50. I'm not very far from you--north of Monroe in the Woods Creek
area.

Hey Tweeters. Anybody else seen the very large flocks of Evening
Grosbeaks flying about and taking up residence near feeders in the Duvall
area. Last week the flock went from 4-5 to over 30. This week it is
upwards of 50 at times! I don't recall if they all migrate or if some stay
in our area during the winter like a Robin or Hummingbird??? I have not
seen any in town (Seattle) at parks or feeders suggesting these are some of
the first arrivals. Great to see!
