Cascadia Hummingbird Report - 01/31/2005
I received migrant hummingbird reports from two locations the week
the report from Nipomo included a photo of a very red-backed male.
The New River bird is is 4 days ahead of any record for that location,
the not the earliest for the south Coast of Oregon.
Nipomo, CA 01-24-2005 24 35.0428 120.4750
New River,OR 01-30-2005 30 42.9136 124.4964
I also got a note from Ocean Shores of a sub-adult male which is
probably an over-wintering individual and an unidentified _Selasphorus_
(either Rufous or Allen's) near Orick, CA.
