Hi,



A large, dark, bird flew overhead, fanned it's long tail, and perched in the
top of a conifer. Later, it was perched in the top of another conifer. Then
it was gone.



My first impression was that it was a very big pigeon. I got the bins on it
briefly, and it appeared uniformly dark with some faint markings on the
breast. At one point a crow flew past - the bird was larger and much plumper
than the crow.



The best I can come up with is a Blue Grouse. But in Bellevue? And perched
at the top a tall tree?
