Try Meadowbrook Pond across 35th Ave. NE. from Nathan Hale H.S. The beaver lodge is up against, and partially above, the walkway across the pond. I've watched a beaver 6-8 feet away at this location. However, you do need some luck to be there when one is out and about. Today I saw Belted Kingfisher, Green-winged Teal, Hooded Merganser, Common Merganser, Bufflehead but no beaver. There were freshly gnawed tree trunks though.
