Hello All,
This morning on the Iowa Beef Ponds in Western Walla Walla Co. MerryLynn and
I observed the following species...............

Western Sandpipers........227 birds..high number for this early date.
Least Sandpipers.............8 birds
Lesser Yellowlegs...........5
Greater Yellowlegs..........1
Killdeer.............................13
Am.Avocet........................53
Black-necked Stilt............26
Green-winged Teal............14
Blue-winged Teal...............5
Cinnamon Teal....................4
Ruddy Duck.........................5
Redhead................................16
Northern Pintail....................1
Mallard..................................23
Black-crowned Night-Heron...5
Great Blue Heron...................2
Canada Geese.........................24
Yellow-headed Blackbirds.....11

NOTE: There were no phalaropes or wigeon on the ponds this morning which is
odd.
