Finally got out to Horn Rapids County Park (DeLorme page 39, 5-A/B) around
noon today to see the Northern Mockingbirds (succeeded effortlessly) and
stumbled across an Eurasian Collared-Dove in the grove of big poplar trees
just south of the kiosk. Although I tried not to alarm it (I stayed back
about 80 Ft.) after about a minute of watching it and it watching me, it
seemed to get nervous and then flew through the trees toward the Yakima R.
I couldn't relocate it.

A pair of Red-winged Blackbirds harassed a male Northern Harrier close over
the black locust trees on the western border of the campgrounds and out
flushed 25- 30 Common Nighthawks.
