Greetings. I have a naming question that I hope someone out there in Tweeter
land can help me with. Where does the name Canada come from in Canada goose?
I know this seems obvious but someone once told me that it was for some
person whose last name was Canada and not for that fine country to the
north.

Any thoughts on this ?wild goose? chase would be appreciated.
