I've been hearing a bird call the last week or so that
I can not ID.
The earliest I've heard it is about 9:45 PM, and as
late as 3-4 in the AM. Always after sunset, usually
at full dark. It seems to be hanging around in the
large Cedar trees in the neighborhood.
It was a high pitched " Speeearr", kinda like a
flycatcher on steroids. Not like any owl call I've
heard. It repeats fairly regularly, maybe every 10-30
seconds, only a single call at a time.
Suggestions?
