Shorthand on a computer? Are you serious? What is wrong with copy and paste? Don't follow? Type out that awful long name that is forcing you to use four letter codes and highlight and copy it with Control+C. Then each time you need to use that terribly long name in your post just hit Control+V. Far shorter and quicker than any shorthand/four letter code/abbreviation in a message. Toss that weak kneed excuse for using Four-letter codes on the list out the window.
