I find it all to be pretty darned hilarious, but I'm easy that way!
I see a lot of humor in a 'heated debate' over something that's so obviously
a matter of choice. I choose "the code" when I'm doing a census/survey, etc.,
but I use the full name when writing my column.

Bottom line....it's not a big deal and it never will be!
