Kas,

Is this a reprint of the original 1997 edition, or is it a revision? As I
have the
1997 edition, I would not be interested in buying the new edition unless
there are significant changes/updates.

For those who do not have the book, I would strongly recommend it.
Although I have done a limited amount of birding in Idaho, I have found
the information to be detailed and accurate, and the directions easy to
follow,
for the areas that I have visited. An excellent bird-finding guide.

It's great that the book is in print again-- it's been unavailable for
too long.

drum roll please....

The Birder's Guide to Idaho is back in print.

The publisher informs me that they will soon be going out to wholesale
distributors, but you can also order them directly from the publisher:
Backeddy Books, PO Box 301, Cambridge, ID 83610. Telephone: 208.345.7610.
Email: Jo Soules bjsoules at ctc.net

Tentative price is $19.95 plus shipping, which is tentatively about $2. I'm
sure they will get the real price and shipping determined soon.

Good birding,
