Hey tweets,

Went for a run this morning throught Renton Park (near Lindbergh High
School) and then back home, taking part of the pipeline trail. 20+ species
during a 40 minute run. White-crowned sparrows, song sparrows, and juncos
were all singing/calling. I also saw my first Savannah Sparrow in this
area, in the gated area where the pipeline trail ends at 132nd. Went back
later in the day with binoculars to get a better look, and I think I may
have seen Lincoln's Sparrows as well. Haven't seen them before, and
lighting was a little funky at times, so I wasn't confident with the ID.
These birds were mixed in with the Savannah Sparrows in the dry brush and
would sometimes come up to the fence, or a powerline. They were streaked,
had a dark central spot on their breast, and made a 'tsup' call. There were
also buzzy calls coming up from the brush - couldn't catch any of the
culprits there. Lincoln Sparrows?
