Rare bird alert for out-of-town BROWN BOOBY.


Sightings for Wednesday, July 13:

At Colony Farm in Coquitlam, near the duck pond, were 1 EASTERN
KINGBIRD, 2 AMERICAN BITTERNS, and 1 TURKEY VULTURE.

At Minnekhada Regional Park in Coquitlam were 2 EASTERN KINGBIRDS,
seen at the lower marsh, and a male EVENING GROSBEAK seen at the
upper marsh.

In West Vancouver, 3 MARBLED MURRELETS were seen along the seawall.


Sightings for Tuesday, July 12:

A BROWN BOOBY was seen at Bellingham Bay, Washington. It was
feeding at a distance in the bay at 5:30 PM. Present since Saturday.
So far, only seen in the late afternoon.

At Grant Narrows Nature trail in Pitt Meadows, the LEAST FLYCATCHER
was seen 100 m west of the footbridge. 2 female AMERICAN REDSTARTS
were seen near the trail entrance, and 4 EASTERN KINGBIRDS were
seen along the trail.

In Surrey, a GREEN HERON and 6 BLACK SWIFTS were seen at Surrey Heights
Park.

In North Delta, a TURKEY VULTURE was seen flying over 95th Ave near 116th
Street.


No sightings reported for Monday, July 11.


Sightings for Sunday, July 10:

In Richmond, a BROWN PELICAN was seen off Steveston Pier.
