Dear Tweeters,

Question One: somebody recently told me they'd seen a
pair of Cassin's Finches at the Hardy Burn parking
area a week or so ago. Would that person please
contact me?

Question Two: Last week, I was in Washington DC, and
enjoyed a lovely picnic at the National Mall with my
son, some starlings, some pigeons, some House
Sparrows, and a few Common Grackles. We noticed that
several of the Starlings were color-banded. None of
the banded birds had the aluminium USFWS bands,
though. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where to
send the information on these color-banded starlings?
I figure the USFWS would not want the info, since the
bander isn't bothering with their numerical bands.
