In case any of you are planning a plover dash, the directions are as
follows. From Seattle: I-5 south to Longview, west on WA432 to WA433 over
the Columbia, to OR30 westbound. Take this to Astoria, then head south on
US101/OR26. After you pass through Gearhart and pass the Seaside city limits
sign, Lewis and Clark Road will intersect from the east. Turn across the
northbound traffic and you will see a large church parking lot. Nobody
bothered me today as I parked in the lot on the northern edge. Park and walk
about a hundred yards east and you will see mud to the south. The Mongo was
feeding with Semipalmated Plovers and other assorted peeps.
This is the quickest route from Seattle. With no stops this morning it took
me 3 hours and 15 minutes from Southcenter, leaving at 6:15AM.

Thanks,

Paul Cozens
West Seattle

E=mc2. Very nice, Albert. Next time show your work.
