I have scanned the map out of the phone book and added little
arrows.

Most people who've seen the plover so far have seen it at Stanley
Lake. The name of the church is probably important for reasons
of politeness, but its one of those big churches with acres of
parking and the only church anywhere near Stanley Lake, so if
you didn't get the name exactly right, I'm sure you'll be forgiven.

The plover is hanging pretty tightly with Semi's. The two places
where the Semi's are mostly found are Stanley Lake and the big
sand flats in the middle of the Necanicum. At night, the Semi's
move to the sandy areas of Gearhart Beach and the Gearhart spit
to roost which is probably why the bird was found at the end of
Pacific Way late yesterday evening. They don't usually spend
a lot of time on the beach, because of people and dog traffic,
but that probably also depends of day of the week.
