Sightings for Tuesday, July 19:

At Colony Farm in Port Coquitlam were 4 EASTERN KINGBIRDS, a GREEN
HERON, and an AMERICAN BITTERN.

In Delta, a RED KNOT was seen with a flock of BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS
in a field off Hwy 10 near 112th St.


Sightings for Monday, July 18:

On the Boundary Bay foreshore in Delta, just west of 104th Street, a RED
KNOT was seen in a flock of BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS.


Sightings for Sunday, July 17:

At the Compensation Lagoon at the Tsawwassen jetty in Delta, 2 WHIMBRELS
were present.

At York Crescent, North Delta, 8 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS were seen
hawking insects over Burns Bog.


Sightings for Saturday, July 16:

At Iona Island in Richmond, a BROWN PELICAN was seen flying towards the
Vancouver Airport at 8:30 pm.

In North Delta, 4 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS were seen flying over 95 Ave and 116 St.


Sightings for Friday, July 15:

At White Rock, a COMMON MURRE was seen from the pier. Nearby at Crescent
Beach were 137 RHINOCEROS AUKLETS and a RED-NECKED GREBE.


Sightings for Thursday, July 14:

At Iona Island were 3 PURPLE MARTINS at the nest boxes. 3 YELLOW-
HEADED BLACKBIRDS were present at the outer ponds. In the sewage
ponds were 200 WESTERN SANDPIPERS, 200 LEAST SANDPIPERS,
and 11 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS.
