Tweeters: Not too long ago, someone asked about the above and I thought
maybe I could find some old books that might serve. If we are looking for
myths, etc., the old textbook is "Mythology" by Edith Hamilton. If the question
involved birds, perhaps Ernest Choate's "Dictionary of American Bird Names"
would be helpful. The former is an old standby for Lit students; the latter is
fun for birders. I'd appreciate if someone would tell me if either is
