Saw a flight of about seven Leach's storm-petrel's flying along the Tacoma waterfront at the foot of McCarver St. about 6 PM Wednesday, July 27. They were about 100' off shore, flying about 15' above the water and heading east. My first sighting of these in 30 years of watching this stretch of water! Quite a surprise.
