Also wanted to mention a finch I saw around 9am, but wanted to look at the
book first.

My best guess is that it was a YELLOW VARIANT HOUSE FINCH seen on the path
leading south of Lot G . . . north of the foot bridge near that cross-over
into the no leash zone (the area nearest the model airpark to the east).
The jizz was definitely of "finch" shape, size, and flight . . . similar to
the several other House Finch in the vicinity at the time. The bill was
also "House Finchy". However the breast/head coloration was *much* lighter
. . . .almost light buffy brown. . . not the typical orange-red. The only
kink is that I don't think there was much in the way of streaking along the
flanks, but that might have just been my front-on angle and my attention
clearly on the top half of the bird.
