Dear Tweeters,

Yesterday I found a House Wren in the Harry Osborne
State forest, just south of Mount Josephine (Skagit
County north of Hamilton). This was the first time I
had found one anywhere away from the coast in Skagit
County. It was so hot and dry in the clearcut where
the bird was, I thought maybe I was in eastern
Washington at the time--maybe the bird felt at home.
