Hi All -

LEAST FLYCATCHERS can probably now be considered locally uncommon to
fairly-common in north Idaho. A recent report from Kootenai NWR (Boundary
Co. near Bonner's Ferry) of 13 calling LEFL along several mile of Deep Creek
provides good evidence for this. They seem to be primarily in Cottonwoods
where they are most common. They are pretty scarce south of Lake Coeur
d'Alene (not counting eastern Idaho) with few records and no known breeding
areas although there was a report last summer from the Whitebird area near
Riggins, ID (Idaho Co.).

American Redstarts are pretty common in north Idaho as I believe they are
just to the west in Pend Oreille Co., WA.

thanks, Charles.
