Yesterday (friday) at about 11 AM I watched an Osprey
catch a small fish, which looked like a five-inch
flounder or other flatfish, in the shallow waters of
Birch Bay. Since Ospreys do not nest around Birch Bay
(as far as I know) I assume this was a late migrant?
