Or capturing and moving sea lions (and breaking up families in the process)
to keep them from eating salmon. That's what the sea lion cage just
outside Shilshole Bay Marina is all about, in case anyone doesn't know.

Not to mention that they usually find their way back anyway. A friend of
mine in Tucson with little kids tried repeatedly to remove a colony of Gila
monsters from his property in the middle of the city. After he went as far
away as 15 miles and they found their way back in a week, he gave up and
just taught his kids to respect and stay away from Gila monsters.

As the wildlife official said on last night's piece on 60 Minutes about the
interaction between grizzlies and homeowners: "If you don't want wildlife
in your yard, why did you move to the edge of a major wildlife area?"
