Breaker Lake, Pacific Co. - 6/8/2004

It was a very pleasant day to be surveying birds. The first
youngsters of the season were in evidence (baby MALLARDS,
juvenile SONG SPARROWS).

There was a chorus of COYOTES at about 07:30. Sounded like
adults and pups. The neighbors PEAFOWL were also pretty
noisy today.

And I saw two different COLUMBIA BANANA SLUGS dangling from
mucus threads. One of these days I'll have my camera along
to photo-document this.
