Hi Tweeters;
Yesterday I was in a natural blind under a large D. fir tree, watching
wetland birds, when I heard an agitated bird calling not far from my
right shoulder. Suddenly a hawk (larger than a Sharpie) swooped down
and grabbed it (? the large dark form in the photo) and flew just ten
feet over my head carrying it to a tree limb above my left shoulder. I
was able to lean back and get a quick shot of the hawk thinking it
would be easy to ID from the photo -wrong. My guess is a juvenile
Northern Goshawk- Is anyone else willing to take a stab at it? I will
send the photo. Thanks
