Tweeters,
Paul Hicks and I saw one adult plumage White-face Ibis at Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge today (around 1 p.m.). It was in the vicinity of the large shallow pond about 250 m. west of the headquarters, on the north side of the east-west trail. It emerged from the tall aquatic grass about 75 m. north of the trail and preened and foraged in the open for a few minutes, before disappearing again into to the grass, only to reappear again briefly.
Good birding, Bob
