Chipping Sparrows nest in a number of locations in Thurston County.
They're pretty common in the prairie areas, like Weir Prairie, but can
also be found in smaller open areas - St. Martins College campus, the
Lacey Clearcut (or what's left of it) and Meridian Campus in northeast
Lacey.

Recently Chipping Sparrows have been found nesting here on Bainbridge
Island. Does anyone know of any other locations in the Puget Sound basin
near sealevel that Chipping Sparrows nest at?
