Hi Gang,

There is a Male AMERICAN WIGEON in the pond in Golden Gardens Park in
Ballard that seems to have a broken/injured wing. He also seems to be
molting, which isn't a surprise this time of year. He did a lot of
flapping this morning, but I don't know if he was trying to fly or not.

Really not much else there, MALLARDS, a few BARN SWALLOWS, (not many at
all) but huge crowds of RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS, maybe 30, maybe more,
they were everywhere, male and female, I spotted at least 5 potential
nests, from the sounds of the kids when the adults flew in. One CASPIAN
TERN yesterday, seems like a slow year for Terns. One OSPREY flyby this
week.
