I was on my way out of Olympia today and saw a female duck and a bunch of
ducklings going down Jefferson St. at about 12th Ave.headed toward the P.O.
They were in the street so don't know if they made it to were they were
going. I slowed down but cars were honking and passing me so I moved on. As
a duck walks they were a long way from water. When I got back home tonight
I looked in my bird book and the only thing I could come up with was a
female Tufted Duck which the book said was uncommon. Any other ideas?
