Just a quick note to say that there were 2 adult BARRED OWLS and at least
one chick (heard) at Watershed Park in Olympia this morning. Listen for the
upset Robins to find out where they are. This was in the big alder thicket
near the 22nd Ave sign in the park, kind of by the salmon displays if I
remember right.

Also heard one CASSIN'S VIREO briefly and saw it with food in its bill, so
there must be a nest about there too. These can be harder to find around
the city. Other usual singers were: PS Flycatcher, Brown Creeper, W.
Tanager, BT Gray Warbler, Wilson's Warbler, Swainson's Thrush, and BH
Grosbeak.
