I have had painted lady butterflies for the first time in my garden this
year just east of Yakima. They have used Salvia 'Rose Queen', Scabiosa
(pinchushion flower), green-eyed susans (Rudbeckia hybrid), and Coreopsis
(Tickseed). I have never seen them hear before, maybe I just missed them,
but it was a nice find to look out and see them on my flowers.
