according to those i talked to on the island last year, they were
reported... i'm not sure how reliable the source was... on one or two
occasions, i thought i had one, but (like other times) it terned (yes, i
know) out i was wrong :)

Does anyone know whether the Arctic Terns are still nesting at Jetty Island
in Everett, or whether they have even been seen there this year? I have
seen no mention of them on TWEETERS. If not this year, what is the
most recent year when they were seen there?

They have nested on Jetty Island or nearby most years since 1977, but I
am wondering if the colony has finally become defunct. Any information
would be appreciated.
