Hi, this is Denny Granstrand. At 10:00 this morning, I found one WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER and possibly two on the Iowa Beef or Tyson Ponds, accessed on the gravel road south of Dodd-Iowa Beef Road south of Pasco. I watched one preening for five minutes, got numerous good looks at the white rump. It's on the east-most pond with water on it, which is the same pond that Steve Mlodinow saw one on last Saturday. Thank you.

Hi, this is Steven Mlodinow. I spent about seven hours on Whidbey Island and, in the spirit of Gene Hunn, got 93 species in about 72 miles of driving. The only real interesting birds were two SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS at Crockett Lake in with a total of about 100 Westerns. There are also about 10 GREATER YELLOWLEGS there now, so migration is cranking up, and a female GREATER SCAUP on Doug Wallach Bay. That's it. Good luck and good birding.
