Just heard back today from USGS in response to the band I read off one of
the seven Greater White-fronted Geese at Nisqually NWR this April. It turns
out it was banded about 5 miles west of Chevak, AK. The bander was from the
Yukon Delta NWR and it was banded on July 09 in 1999 (though aged as hatched
in 98 or earlier). Pretty cool!
