Kathy Andrich and I met down in the Kent Valley this evening about 6:30. We
saw Least Sandpipers at two sites.

Thomas Wetland southeast of S 277th St and I-167. Thomas field is by the
Toysmith Bldg. Some mud showing at the wetland. This
is a fairly new mitigated area and has a snag set up in it. There is an
older pond north of it in the same field.
Least Sandpiper - 1
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Mourning Dove - 1

Boeing Ponds southwest of West Valley and 196th St. Moderate amt. of mud
showing especially in the back pond close to the Boeing Space Center. You
must walk back toward the Boeing plant w/ the big bldgs. from a road closed
sign to view the back pond. Least
Sandpipers were seen in main pond and in the back pond, both in the water
and on mud.
Least Sandpiper - 15 to 20
Spotted Sandpiper - 4
Green Heron - 1
