i'm in the market for a digital voice recording device suitable for birding,
with an added feature: it can play back WMA, WAV, or MP3 (to be used for
learning bird song)...

if you could reply with what you know, what you like, what you HATE, where
to buy, where NOT to buy, i'd appreciate it... the more inexpensive, the
better, but if it's "that" good and it does the job, it goes to the top of
the upcoming birthday anniversary list :)
