Subject: [Tweeters] Clyde Hill - Hummingbird feeder activity

The chart below summarizes the activity at the feeders located at our house
in NW Bellevue. The vertical axis represents sugar consumption in grams per
day. Using my estimate that each bird takes about one gram of sugar a day
from a given location, it shows 10-20 birds in the winter and early spring,
rising to 60-70 in mid-May, and topping out at 80 or so in early June. The
shape of the peak has some similarities with the peak for Oak Bay (my next
message).

P.S. If the chart does not make it though Tweeters intact, please let me
know if you would like a copy sent to you directly.
