February 27, 3:03 PM - Hi, this is Steven Mlodinov. I just bumped into
Dennis Paulson down near Stanwood. A short while ago he had a FALCATED
DUCK, could be the same one from a couple of years ago, at the base of
Samish Island. Go past the West 90 right before you get on Samish
Island in the field to your left, to your south. The bird was with
about 500 WIGEON in the grass field. Again, it was an adult male
FALCATED DUCK.

On a lesser note, along bow road just south of Stanwood in an enormous
flock of SNOW GEESE, we had two BLUE GEESE. Good luck and good
birding.
