Hi,

We looked for the Mountain Plover for a couple of hours yesterday without
success. There were very few birds in the vicinity.

We hiked the blue trail from State Park. It was a comparatively short walk.
However much of the trail was flooded and we waded in bare feet for much
of the way. Wellington Boots might be sufficient but it was nearly to the
knees at some places. There were several signs warning of this problem, but
we took no notice!
