I live in east Ballard at 6th Ave and NW53rd; a red tail is a regular site
in the neighborhood, as are bald eagles. Sharpies, Cooper's hawks, merlins,
and peregrines are others that we've occasionally seen from the yard. Ruth
Taylor lives not far to the north, and she once reported seeing three
merlins.
