Nick,

I have often wondered about killdeer activity at night. The church I attend
has a large parking lot with fields on two sides - perfect location for a
killdeer nest. As I have come out in the spring, summer and fall evenings I
have heard the killdeer calling. I've never seen the bird(s), though.
There are bright lights around as this is a parking lot and I wondered if
that could have an influence on nocturnal behavior.
