Subject: [Tweeters] The story of the missing Arizona birders at Redwing-land

Greetings All,

Many times, when I am birding, I meet other people out birding, and I
neglect to ask their names, or, having asked, forget these same names. As
I read various Tweeters posts, I see that this tendency is widespread. In
the case I wish to relate now, I find that others have done this, and in
addition they are strangers to me, I have never met them. So, you might
think I am off the hook in this case. However, . . .

Do any of you know Rosemary & Elliott, of Arizona ? Interestingly
enough, they seem to have met someone, at the famous Redwing site in SW
Olympia, perhaps from SW WA, or perhaps with a name beginning with A
(?). They have mailed thanks to a friend of mine who lives in SW
Washington, whose name starts with A, thanking him for helping them to find
the Redwing, in Olympia, in Feb, before Feb 20. My friend, Anthony, was
not at the Redwing site that day; neither was I; neither was my friend
Andrew, also a somewhat nearby neighbor in SW WA.

So, I have run thru all the likely (?) suspects here, and now appeal to
Tweeterdom for any likely answers to this question. Please e-mail to me
off-list if you have potentially useful suggestions, & I will send you
contact info for these out-of-state birders.

Thanks,
Good naming& birding,
