Hi Tweets,

Has anyone tried for the Olympia Redwing this week? It looks like my dad
and I are FINALLY going to be able go over there! I'm wondering if there's
much chance of seeing it now, though. Has anyone tried this week, but not
seen it? Or seen it but not posted? The plan is to go over on Saturday and
look Sunday morning, so if anyone tries for it before then, please let me
know, on Tweeter's or by direct email. Thanks.

Our other main target is Mountain Quail, but I don't know how much chance
there'll be for them either. From reading posts, it looks like the Port
Orchard Airport and the gravel pit there are the places to go. But is the
airport "off-limits" now? Should we call ahead? Does anyone have any tips
on spotting them, or a better place to see them?

We'll be stopping at various places on the way and on the way back for
different birds, too.
