Hi Tweeters,

I just did a google search for Eurasian Siskin and found several nice
photos. Eurasian Siskins, at least those in the photos I saw, are much
yellower on the head than Pine Siskins. The supercillium and background
coloration of the sides of the head show quite a lot of yellow. Mr. Sibley
shows a "yellow" Pine Siskin in his Guide to Birds. The siskin in
Vancouver and on Joseph Higbee's stump look just like the one in Sibley.
