Coupeville, Whidbey Island: We had a female RUHU visiting Salmonberry and
Red-flowering Currant blooms this morning. It was also taking some sort of
tiny flying insect.
For those of you looking for more affirmations of spring: Saturday I saw
a Trailing Blackberry in bloom at Ft. Ebey St. Park and have noticed a few
Oregon Grape blooming as well. The major indicator however was my first
alder pollen derived sneezes yesterday!
