Hello All,
This beautiful calm evening MerryLynn and I walked around Bennington Lake east of Walla Walla. We detected the following species.............

Great Horned Owl..............2 birds
Long-eared Owl.................3 birds
Northern Saw-whet Owl......1 bird
Am. Robin..........................1200+ birds. these birds arrived in mass on this warm sunny day.

Next Friday evening the Blue Mountain Audubon will offer a owling trip up into the Coppei Creek drainage east of Walla Walla. All are welcome. We will meet at 6 P.M. on the Whitman College Campus at Harper Joy Theater Parking Lot. Plan on Car pooling.
