I have seen ravens this winter around Monroe, maybe just the same one. This
was the first year in 13 that I have seen this bird in Monroe. Outside of
town where I live, near Maltby I have heard and seen ravens randomly over 13
years. Last spring 3 of them spent enough time quorking around our woods I
thought perhaps they might be nesting, but alas, they did not. I suspect
they come down from higher elevations, since my sitings are almost all in
the winter and early spring. Early this year I saw a raven in Monroe sitting
on a lightpost next to a crow and cawwing like a crow. Darnest thing.
