We have been anxiously waiting the return of the Rufous to our yard. Last year the first female arrived on 3/19 and the male the next day (first day of spring) But so far no Rufous and no swallows either. I always worry that they will not find their way back to this place. But maybe there are so many around that some bird will find us? Do you know how many they site in this area and how likely it is that a the birds we had last year will come back here to the same spot?
