In my haste I neglected to mention that on Friday, March 11, I also had a
real out-of-place W. SCRUB-JAY just north and east of Crocker Lake in
Jefferson County. The bird was flying north near the confluence of Hwys 101
and 104, south of Discovery Bay a few miles. The species is very rare this
far north, although Sequim has had a few birds since the first record back
in the early 80s.
